Special mulcher with pick-up rotor and BERTI container, suited for mulching wooden material such as pruning and branches up to Ø 8 cm., ideal for vineyards and orchards. For tractors from 60 to 140 HP. The mulched material is collected by the container and not discharged to the ground.
Standard equipment: fixed 3-points linkage Cat. I – II, top link tie rod, exclusive “BERTI container” with independent hydraulic frame, free wheel in the gearbox, pick-up rotor with mechanical transmission through self-lubricating chain, special heavy-duty torque limiter slip clutch in the “Pick-up” rotor’s transmission, full automatic belts adjuster, set of pivoting wheels with hydraulic height adjusting, double chassis, counter-blades, forged and hardened BERTI hammers, rear lighting equipment, frontal conveying guards, PTO 540 rpm.
Accessories on request: articulated 3-point linkage (for narrow maneuvers) with Wide-Angle drive shaft (≥ 120), anti-sinking skids, hydraulic transmission of pick-up rotor and speed-adjusting valve (in lieu of mechanical transmission), container type “SUPER”, kit mulching for vineyards or for orchards/olive grow, pick-up rotor with extra-quantity of teeth , forestry rotor (max 12 cm – ≥ 140), centrifugal clutch, exclusive design by BERTI) recommended with forestry rotor), PTO drive shaft.
The machine can work with all the possible terrain conditions, even on the stony and/or cultivated grounds where the ordinary mulchers and shredders are not able to operate. In the PICKER/C, in fact, the mulching work is performed in high position from the ground level and without the presence of dangerous stones or rocks.
The aim of the PICKER/C is to collect, after being well mulched, the wood material resulting from season pruning in vineyards, orchards, olive groves, and alike. Thanks to the particular design of the“pick-up rotor”, in fact, the machine does not collect grass or stones from the ground. The container, built of steel, is equipped with a dual cover: the first half allows the inspection; the second permits to the material to slide down during the discharge operations.
