STIHL Hedge Trimmers were designed and built for use in park and landscape maintenance, but can also be used for a variety of jobs in private gardens and estates. They are particularly useful when long or gnarled hedges have to be trimmed. The HS 45 and HS 80 feature double-edged blades permitting rapid cutting both upwards and downwards.

| 1. The new blade construction with new blade
geometry and integral cutter blade guard delivers high cutting performance.
The cutting bar moves at high speed to produce very clean cutting results. 2. Convenient engine operation, all the engine functions needed to operate the hedge trimmer can be conveniently controlled via the controls built into the handle. The user's hand never leaves the handle. 3. The blade brake ensures the cutting bar does not unintentionally start moving when the machine is started up. 4. Anti-vibration system, the front handle of the STIHL HS 45 is fitted with an Anti-vibration system. That makes using the unit convenient and effortless. |

| The STIHL hedge trimmers HL 75?HL 75K are the ideal
complement to classical hedge trimmers, thanks to their considerably longer
reach they are eminently suitable for cutting long, tall or particularly
wide hedges. They can be used for a whole variety of applications on large
estates, as well as for professional purposes by municipal authorities,
landscape gardeners and farmers. The ergonomically designed operating elements and the low weight of these trimmers allow them to be used in a professional manner without tiring. Hedges are trimmed without leaving the ground: scaffolding or a platform are not required. Depending on the job concerned, users can choose between hedge trimmers with straight, angled or adjustable cutting bars (the latter can be adjusted in stages between 0° and 90°). The trimmers are also available with long or short (K Version) shaft. In the STIHL HL 75/75 K (0° to 90° ) hedge trimmers, the angle of the cutter bare gearhead can be adjusted in discrete increments between 0° and 90°, so that these hedge trimmers can be rapidly adapted to suit the particular application and the user's height. The desired angle of the cutting bar is adjusted and locked in position by means of a toolless quick adjustment mechanism consisting of lever and detent pin. |
