  This lightweight model is ideal for a wide range of garden chores. Particularly easy to operate, the STIHL KM 55 C-E features STIHL ErgoStart - so you won't waste strength with troublesome jerking. Compared to conventional starting mechanisms, STIHL ErgoStart approximately halves the starting effort.

HT 131 High Powered Pole Pruner

33% more power, familiar package Now STIHL have released a even higher powered telescopic pole pruner, the HT 131. Ideal for regular heavy pruning jobs in professional arboriculture, or for hire & rental outlets. The high torque 4-MIX motor and high speed chain can cut thick branches easily and cleanly. Reaching branches up to 5m (16½ feet), you can prune easily with both feet comfortably and securely on the ground. The HT 131 uses a standard STIHL bar & chain configuration, so spares and service are no problem. Fully compatible with the STIHL Super Harness for comfortable pruning without the back & shoulder stress involved with holding and controlling a power tool for extended periods of time. The weight of the pole pruner is transferred to the operators’ hips.

Assembling your CombiSystem

• The Engine
  Depending on the amount of power you require, first select a CombiEngine with either a loop handle or bicycle handle*.
• The loop handle
  The ideal handle for most tasks, especially for trimming and pruning. It is particularly useful for work in tight or narrow spaces. The loop handle can be used with the full range of CombiTools.
• The right CombiTool
  Once you have decided on the ideal CombiEngine for your requirements, select the appropriate CombiTools for the tasks at hand. Needless to say, all CombiTools can be purchased at a later date and added to your basic unit. You can therefore gradually build up your collection of CombiTools, getting the most out of this hugely flexible system as your requirements evolve.

* Not all CombiTools are approved for use with the bicycle handle. Ongmac will advise you and can also supply you with all the permitted combinations.

Brushcutter with mowing head, metal blade or edge trimmer

The classic model: By combining the CombiTool FS-KM with mowing head or metal blade, your STIHL CombiSystem becomes a powerful brushcutter. It can take care of a wide variety of tasks in the garden, from trimming lawn edges and mowing patches of grassy meadow to thinning gnarled scrub and weeds.

• Mowing head FS-KM AC 25-2
  The nylon line mowing head is perfect for adding that finishing touch to gardens or mowing smaller patches of grass. The cutter makes short work of grass and wild growth in wall corners, at the edges of steps and fences, under bushes and trees or between edging stones and slabs.
• Metal blade FS-KM GSB 230-2
  Use the metal blade to effortlessly mow larger patches of meadow and grassland.
• Edge trimmer FCB-KM
  The edge trimmer CombiTool is ideal for the meticulous trimming of lawn edges along paths, driveways or flowerbeds.

Quick switch: thanks to innovative quick-release coupling

Tackling the meadow first, then the lawn edges, then the shrubs? No problem -you can switch from one CombiTool to another in no time at all. The innovative quick-release coupling allows you to dismantle the CombiSystem, without special tools, into two transport/storage-friendly parts for quick reassembly. Simply disconnect the plug-in connection using the tommy screw, and all the parts are ready for storage in the car boot or shed - using minimal space.

Hedge trimmers and pole pruners

With the hedge trimmer and pole pruner CombiTools, achieving perfect results in upper regions is child's play. What's more, convenient accessories have been designed for these CombiTools, including a shaft extension, angled gearhead and comfort harness.

• Hedge trimmer HL-KM
  The hedge trimmer is a CombiTool which has been specially designed for cutting very wide, tall or inaccessible hedges. You can select between the 0° and 30° models or the adjustable version, with increments between 0°-90°.
• Pole pruner HT KM
  With the pole pruner CombiTool, reaching those top branches in fruit trees is no problem. There's no need for a ladder or scaffold - you can comfortably sculpt branches with both feet planted firmly on the ground.

Pick tines, power sweep and bristle brush

Nature imposes many different demands, and one of them is preparing gardens for the inevitable winter. Clearing lawns, paths and terraces of fallen leaves are jobs that the pick tines, power sweep and bristle brush CombiTools were made for. And when winter has arrived and there's little left to do in the garden ... simply store your space-saving CombiSystem and CombiTools in the shed or garage. Until spring rolls around again, that is.

• Pick tines BF-KM
  The pick tines are useful for aerating and cultivating the soil. Use them to break up hard soil in strawberry or salad beds, as well as the narrow spaces in between strips of plants.
• Power sweep KW-KM
  Clear dirt, debris, fallen leaves, snow - and lots more. The power sweep CombiTool, with its soft yet robust rubber fins, makes cleaning up a snap on pathways, roads and lawns.
• Bristle brush KB-KM
  The strong bristles of the bristle brush CombiTool thoroughly remove deep splashes of dirt from furrows or uneven natural stone surfaces. The counter rotational direction of the brush pushes dirt and soil forwards.
