The engine's clutch, flywheel and cylinder have been assembled with a lower weight load yet comparable performance to conventional parts. The lightweight construction allows better acceleration due to less rotating masses. In addition, a reduced gyroscopic force positively effects the maneuverability of the STIHL MS 192 T.
High chain speed for ultra-precise cutting
In combination with the microprocessor-controlled ignition system, the new accelerator pump in the carburetor leads to faster, more spontaneous acceleration and maximum speeds of 13,500 rpm. The cylinder, which features four port technology, also contributes to significantly higher engine speeds and a higher torque, with reduced levels of exhaust emissions. This results in extremely high chain speeds for clean and precise cutting.
Consistent performance and long life
The carburetor with compensator makes sure that the fuel mixture does not become too rich as the air filter becomes soiled. The ratio of fuel to air in the combustion mixture remains constant, improving operational reliability. In this way, it only becomes necessary to clean the filter when there is noticeable drop in performance. The STIHL MS 192 T also features two piston rings for extended durability and continually high performance.
