Designed to fit most airblast units. The patented
Radak Conveyor system can be retro-fitted to your existing sprayer
and is an ideal addition to most airblast sprayers used in tree crops.
It is also available as a factory fitted option on the Silvan Supaflo
and Stiletto MK 11 airblast sprayers or as a retro-fit to your existing
Silvan polytank models.
The first Radak Conveyor was designed four years ago after consultation
with several tree crop farmers. It provides a variable system for thorough
spray penetration and more efficient control of pests and diseases in
taller tree crops such as macadamias. The Radak Conveyor achieves thorough
coverage as a result of its unique, patented design that directs airflow
from the sprayer fan into the tree canopy from underneath and into the
interior
of the tree.
The Radak Conveyors robust aluminium design has
upper and lower "wings" or
sections, with 15 nozzles per side. The nozzles are Albuz ATR hollow
cone, ceramic jets and are a flip-over design, allowing spray rates to
be adjusted quickly and easily. The wings can also be adjusted to
suit the tree crops size and canopy growth. As an optional extra, the
bottom wings only, or the top and bottom wings can be adjusted hydraulically
from the tractor. The Radak Conveyors unique design provides the ability
to penetrate large tree crop canopies without a worry. Simply nothing
else compares.
