For smooth operation, they're equipped with an advanced hydraulic shuttle transmission, and with over 90 horsepower at your disposal, the ME Series are ready to handle your increased job demands.
Other features include a high level of comfort provided by a superior cabin with dual-level air conditioning system; an independent hydraulic PTO; an environmentally-friendly, high-torque rise E-TVCS diesel engine; and more. And, by being meticulously engineered, it's no wonder the ME Series can provide the highest level of performance and reliability, regardless of the specialised task they're taking on.
Forward
When the shuttle lever is shifted to the forward position, the shuttle valve engages to direct the flow of hydraulic oil, gradually through the operation of the modulating valve, to the forward main clutch pack so that the clutch is smoothly engaged.
Reverse
When the shuttle lever is shifted to the reverse position, the shuttle valve engages to direct the flow of hydraulic oil, gradually through the operation of the modulating valve, to the reverse main clutch pack so that the clutch is smoothly engaged.
Convenient lever location
By conveniently locating the main shift lever to the right side of the seat and making the area around the operator's feet more spacious, manoeuvrability and comfort have been enhanced.

Hydraulic wet-type clutch
Compared to conventional dry-type clutches, the hydraulic wet clutch is exceptionally durable due to the steady circulation of filtered hydraulic oil that ensures the clutch discs and plates of remaining cool when engaged. This results in a smoother, more dependable and reliable operation over longer periods of time. A proportional reduction valve interlinks with the clutch pedal to allow setting pack pressure to best match the stroke of the clutch pedal, a feature that makes operations requiring half-clutch possible.
Hydraulic shuttle with F1 8/1418 transmission
When it comes to increased productivity and user-friendly operation, nothing compares to Kubota's hydraulic shuttle and F18/R18 transmission system. It enables smooth clutchless shifting from forward to reverse without requiring the tractor to stop. To meet a broader range of applications, the fully synchronised transmission is equipped with 18 forward and 18 reverse operating speeds, including 6 creep speeds. And, to further reduce fatigue, the clutchless hydraulic shuttle shift also provides smooth, shock free operation during front-loader use.

To get the job done in less time, the ME Series tractors have maximum travel speeds that are faster than previous models.

Hydraulic wet-type brakes
Requiring only a light touch to activate them, the highly responsive hydraulic wet-type brakes greatly reduce operator fatigue.

E-TVCS diesel engine*
Out muscle the toughest jobs with Kubota's E-TVCS (Three Vortex Combustion System) diesel engine with high output and high torque rise. Other features include low vibration levels, low noise, thrifty fuel consumption, cleaner emissions, and legendary Kubota reliability.

High-torque-rise engine
With the governor and fuel injection pumps in a single unit, a 28% torque rise is generated. By reducing rpm drop, the result is a quicker response to sudden load changes. This enables a smoother performance under almost any load condition with less need for downshifting.
Enclosed muffler*
To improve operator visibility and reduce noise, the muffler is contained within the engine compartment. The only protrusion is an exhaust pipe, which can be detached easily without opening the hood when the BOPS is temporarily folded down. For a lower profile, an under muffler is optional.

Bevel gear 4-wheel drive
Thanks to Kubota's bevel gear 4WD system, the turning radius is comparable to that of a 2WD. It provides exceptional mobility in tight areas, and allows smooth power transfer to the wheels at all angles. All gears are her hermetically sealed in oil to improve durability.

Radial tyres
For better traction, the ME Series tractors come standard with radial tyres. Other benefits include long life, better ride, and soil/crop-friendly thread.
Slide ROPS
Working in space-restricted areas is no problem with our sliding RollOver Protective Structure. Simply remove two pins and the upper portions of the BOPS quickly slides down, enabling the tractor to freely pass under low branches or other low hanging obstacles.
Cast-iron discs
After filling rear tyres with water as opposed to air, then attaching the cast-iron discs, traction is greatly enhanced by increasing the tractor's weight. Better traction means more potent pulling power, making for more efficient towing of heavy loads.
Position of lamp
For a more streamlined appearance and to prevent damage from low hanging branches, the lamps are flush mounted and positioned on the forward-facing section of the rear fenders.
Rear 3-point hitch operation lever
A standard feature on the ME Series, the rear 3-point hitch operation lever makes implement hook up and detachment much easier.
Excellent visibility
Designed with frameless doors and by increasing its overall glass area, our cabin provides a virtually unobstructed panoramic view. The bottomhinged, front windshield wiper further enhances visibility. To improve cabin airflow, it's equipped with opening side windows, and a rear hatchback type window that opens as well.

Front & rear wiper
To ensure high visibility in bad weather, the ME Series cab offers a front and rear windshield wiper. Hinged at the bottom, the front wiper further increases visibility.

Includes front & rear windshield wiper and washer; two front working lights; two rear working lights; interior light; cigarette lighter, left and right external mirrors; sun visor; ashtray; cassette radio; tail/stop lights; cup holder.
Air conditioner
With the ability to reach a temperature that's 3°C lower than existing models, plus being equipped with dual-level simultaneous heating and cooling, 8.3 m/sec boosted air force, and more air outlets, the air conditioning system provides superior comfort.
Radio/cassette player
With the radio/cassette player you'll catch the latest news, weather forecast, music, and more, all while you're working. To hear your favourite songs, just slip your tape into the cassette player.
3-point hitch
The 3-point hitch is capable of lifting up to 3,400kg. Moreover, with a 2nd assist cylinder, lifting capacity can be increased to a 4,000kg maximum.
High capacity hydraulic pump
Regardless of the implement being used, our high capacity, 64.3 litre/min. hydraulic pump means more power and responsiveness for highly efficient implement operation.

Live independent hydraulic PTO
By using the live, independent, hydraulic PTO clutch, you'll freely and smoothly switch the rear PTO on and off, whether the tractor is moving or stopped. This feature greatly enhances spraying, rear cutting, or any other work requiring use of the PTO.
Remote control valve
Two remote valves are standard. The first can be used as a double-single acting valve. The second remote valve has double-acting, self-canceling valve functions. An optional third valve is also available in various configurations such as a flow-control valve or D-A valve with a floating detent.

  • Second assist cylinder
    Opt for two sets of assist cylinders and increase your lift capacity to a maximum of 4,000kg.
  • Quick hitch-type lower link
    With an easy to operate lever, this timesaving option allows you to quickly attach and detach implements.
  • Flow control valve
    Lets you operate the 3-point hitch and one remote valve at the same time. Plus, simultaneous operation between two remote valves is also possible.

    A high 3-point hitch offers extra versatility.
  • Floating aux valve
    If required, a third valve is also available as an option.
