Introducing the 1400/1500 Series. Three high powered models that continue John Deere front mowers' original runaway success. Armed with high-capacity 7-Iron™ decks, the planet's strongest and deepest, they mow at a stunning 12 miles per hour.
Precisely crafted, powered by liquid-cooled gas and diesel engines, defended by a two year bumper-to-bumper warranty* (see Ongmac for details), and founded on a self-reinforcing frame, they outlast, outperform and outdistance anything. Even the legends of machines before them.

1. Own the inside track. With a 72-inch deck, the back of the mower moves in exact proportion to the front, so it's easy to trim contoured landscaping.
2. From 7-Iron ™ mower decks stamped from a single piece of incredibly thick 7-gauge steel that comes with a two year warranty*, to blades with the precise carbon content to be hard, not brittle, to an inch-thick drive shaft, every piece of the 1400 Series has the stamina to go the distance.
3. Front PTO is easy to access. Precisely machined splines make it a cinch to slide on and off PTO shafts.

4. Pin-based cutting height adjustment system is fast and truly effortless.
5. Hanger arms lift high for quick trailer-loading of attachments.
6. Seat can be positioned at a "high" or "low" setting, depending on operator preference.

7. Seat suspension tension can be dialled in to match the weight of the operator.
8. Comfortable, pedal-based twin Touch transmission also allows the option of cruise control.
9. Vital instruments are always within operator's line of sight, but never obstructs visibility.

Space frame design allows components to be placed closer to the ground for a low centre of gravity. Even the hood that slides back to reveal all the daily service points is patented. The deck rotates a full 90 degrees for cleaning and blade changes. A dual tyre option is available to enhance already superior hillside stability.
