LINKAGE
This linkage suits standard Cat 2 & 3N quick hitch systems. Provision has been made also for the fitment of European style Cat 2 lower bar style quick hitch.

 


SAFETY CLUTCH

The four plate sintered bronze slip clutch is fitted to protect both tractor and Rotavator transmission against overloads. This clutch can be adjusted to suit power and Rotavator applications.
ROTOR
As standard rotors can be bladed in either 2 or 3 blade configuration with a variety of blades available to suit all applications. Standard "L" blades are the most versatile while "C" or speed blades offer improved performance in sticky soils or where crop residue builds up on the "L" blade.
OPTIONAL ROTOR
Rotor options such as the Rotapointe and Rotalabour rotors (available in the proven HR 40 series) may be fitted to the HR 41 if required.
GEARBOX SIDE DRIVE
A robust and compact gear side drive transfers the drive from the gearbox, down the side of the machine to the rotor. The "Y" bracket, idler gear support provides rigidity in the side drive and ensures gear alignment is maintained.
 
   

FACE SEALS
The rotor bearings are protected against the ingress of soil by face seals which are unsurpassed in their sealing ability in arduous environments such as highly abrasive sand soils or those with a high water content.
GEARBOX
The large gearcase provides ample oil volume and surface area for cooling and features easy inspection access to the crownwheel and pinion.

  • HR 41 - Selectatilth Gearbox
    A proven simple and effective solution to providing the operator the ability to select the rotor speed to match the tractor and application.
  • HR 43 - Lever change Gearbox
    For quick alteration of the rotor speed in more variable situations the lever change version is the preferred gearbox.
  • Oil Cooler Option
    This circulates gearbox oil through the front frame tube to assist cooling when operating at maximum power in high temperature environments.

FRAME
The robust and rigid monocoque frame is constructed from 6mm plate proven on, and inherited from, the HR 40 Series. It has been enhanced with the under hull sections which are now formed from one piece to reduce soil sticking points.
SIDE WHEELS
Pin adjustable steel wheels are used to control the Rotavator working depth. This multi-stop system provides simple and identical depth setting.
