The HR30 Rotavator™ is the benchmark rotary hoe, covering the requirements of the owners of the popular mid range tractors. There are five models in the HR30 range, all using the renowned Selectatilth™ gearbox and chain side drive transmission. This transmission system has proved over the years to be tough and economical to run on tractors up to 85 HP.
As rugged as its predecessor, the ubiquitous AR, the HR30 incorporates the same rotor design

POWER REQUIREMENTS
Tractor Engine Power @ 540 rpm PTO speed.
Minimum 30kw (40hp) - Maximum 62kw (85hp)
MOUNTING
Category 1 or 2 clevis, three point hitch with 4 height positions on the lower hitch points. Central and offset on smaller models up to 180, central mounting only on model 205 and larger.
DRIVE SHAFT
Bypy 108 series with hardened tri-lobal sliding shaft sections, (cross dimensions 35 x 107mm) on models 230 to 305. Bypy 107 Series on smaller models. 1.3/8" x 21 spline tractor yoke. It is coupled to the gearbox through a HOWARD multi-plate sintered bronze friction clutch.
GEARBOX
Cast iron Selectatilth™ gearbox with hardened alloy steel gears mounted on high tensile alloy steel shafting and supported throughout on tapered roller bearings. Quick release P.O.G. Cover for fast changing of rotor speeds.
Standard Rotor Speeds: 170, 190, 213 and 239 rpm.

ROTOR OPTIONS

  • The Standard Rotor is a closed end design with the flanges at 254mm centres and drilled to accept either two or three pairs of blades. ('C' or 'L' blades can be fitted).
  • The Ratooning Rotor has the same dimensions as the standard rotor but with removable flanges for Ratooning sugar cane.
  • The Renovating Rotor is a special rotor with 105mm flange spacing and special blades for turf renovating.
  • The Super T-Rotor also has a narrow 127,, flange spacing and special 'T' blades for high speed seedbed production and trash incorporation.
  • Rotor Diameter:
    520.. With standard 'L' blades, 580mm with long shank 'L' blades and speed 'C' blades
  • Side Drive chain drive (38mm pitch) and totally enclosed in an oil bath.
DEPTH CONTROL
Dual skids with wheel kit option. (Steel wheels standard on 255T

TILLAGE WORKING DEPTH
Adjustable to 20cm on first pass.
