HANSA
BRUSH CHIPPERS

THE PERFECT RECYCLERS
Organic waste from the garden, orchard or farm is too precious to burn or dump. These materials processed into mulch with a Hansa Brush Chipper will produce the finest organic fertilizer in the form of compost in a matter of weeks. You will not only be conserving the environment by recycling otherwise unwanted organic waste without burning, but you will be saving transport and dumping costs and returning to the soil all the valuable nutrients which originated from it.
The benefit of using compost or mulch to improve the humus content and condition of your soil will be felt in higher fertility, increased yields and better quality crops. Mulch will retain the moisture in dry periods and control weeds.
The Hansa Brush Chippers operate with 2 cutting knives, the most efficient way to process branch material. The machines are therefore not suitable for processing soil, sand, grit stones, etc, or any material which will be abrasive and damage the knives.

The output is of a fine and even texture with a chip size of 6mm to 15mm, ideal for composting and mulching. The heights of the outlet chutes make it possible to discharge the material into a trailer, wheelbarrow, and stockpile on the ground or directly back onto the garden or orchard. Compared with a chipper - shredder type machine, these Brush Chippers will offer you a much faster, more efficient and more user-friendly operation.

CONSTRUCTION OF MACHINE

  • Housings built of 5mm steel plate
  • Twin belt drive between engines and rotor for smooth running and protection of your engine or tractor against shock loads
  • Easy starting - engine started not under load and then engage the drive with a manual clutch.
  • The cutting blades shear the material against an adjustable hardened anvil. This action will work just as efficiently in 10 years time as on the first day, provided the knives are kept sharp.
  • No plastic components - they simply do not last

When you compare different makes of machines, be careful as some manufacturers rate their capacity by the size of the opening, which is misleading. Through a 75mm opening you can practically feed only a 50mm branch.
