ELECTRIC SAWS

| STIHL electric saws are ideal wherever noise is undesirable. Plugged into a standard wall outlet, these machines deliver the tried-and-tested performance of all STIHL chainsaws when working in enclosed premises where lack of ventilation is an issue. STIHL electric saws are also ideal for all jobs around the house. Powerful and robust machines are available for use in sawmills and by building contractors. All electric saws are equipped with switch lock-out and QuickStop Super chain brake. If the kickback by the bar and chain exceeds a certain level, the brake is activated bringing the chain to a halt in a fraction of a second. All electric saws are additionally equipped with yet another chain brake function which stops the chain coasting when the control lever is released. This function operates mechanically via the QuickStop Super chain brake in the models MSE 140, MSE 160, MSE 180 and MSE 200 C; in the MSE 220 C, it is taken over by the central electronic system. |
